From the Artist:

"Hello all, I’m Mackenzie the maker/designer behind MVP STUDIO. Clay is one of my first loves. Our relationship started in high school and continued through college. We broke up for a bit after college, I needed a little recovery from our super committed relationship, so I started working on large scale installations. After a few years I felt that craving for clay, so clay and I are happily reunited and working well together again.

I make dinnerware that incorporates collage and Nerikomi techniques with bright colors and character. I really love dressing a table with dinnerware that doesn’t matched. Where every guest can have a fun with eating, starting with the plates.

My installation work investigates memories, awareness of space, and creating a visual of my extremely active dream life.

I am a ceramics educator and consultant, where I teach about clay, glazes, kilns and building out of home studios / hobby support along with hand-building techniques."
