This chasen, or whisk holder, is the same glaze as each of our tea bowls. It stands about 3 inches tall and 2" at its widest. The outside is 3/4 glazed and 1/4 white stoneware. It's an attractive piece to complement your whisk.

The inside is glazed, making this also great for matches, a tiny bud vase, or toothbrush holder. The opening is 7/8".
